This website (“Website”) is owned and operated by CorporateGift.com, Inc. ("CorporateGift"). CorporateGift recognizes the importance of maintaining the privacy of our corporate customers ("Customers"), gift recipients ("Recipients") and our sellers of those gifts (“Sellers”), collectively “Users”. CorporateGift posts this privacy policy ("Policy") to describe our practices regarding the collection and use of Information from Users through both our ecommerce Marketplace and Gifting Platform software (“Services”).
We may amend our Policy from time to time. If material changes are made to this Policy affecting our Gifting Platform corporate accounts, we will make every attempt to notify directly by email or within your Account prior to the change becoming effective.
Your use of our Services constitute your consent to this Policy and any future amendments. If you do not consent to this Privacy Policy, you must deactivate your account and stop using CorporateGift Services.. This Policy was last updated September 21, 2020.
1. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Creating an account at CorporateGift is voluntary. If you create an account with CorporateGift, you will be asked to share certain personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, address, phone number, email address, username, password and company of employment (“Information”). We also collect the physical and/or email address of your Recipients that you register. If you decide to provide Information, you are telling us that this Information is both true and accurate, and that you are authorized to provide it to CorporateGift and our third party Marketplace sellers involved in fulfilling your orders. CorporateGift collects Information about you in other ways, including when you send an E-Gift, place an order, or when you visit the Website. We may also collect Information automatically using cookie technology or web beacons to capture your location or IP address when you visit our website or social media pages. From time to time, CorporateGift may also contact you via email, postal mail, or phone to conduct questionnaires and surveys. Survey Information is treated like Information. If you contact us by phone for customer assistance, such calls may be recorded for quality assurance and training purposes.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We use the Information you supply for the purpose of providing the Services you have requested
and as described in this Policy.
Our Third Party Sellers. In the instances where third party sellers are producing, customizing,
fulfilling or otherwise servicing your orders, CorporateGift will only share artwork you upload
for customization, gift message copy you provide for printed or handwritten gift cards, and
recipient addresses. We do not share email addresses, payment information, account details or
passwords.
Our Third Party Technology Sellers. We use various third party technology providers, as outlined
in our Cookie Policy who may collect information, such as which search engine referred you to
CorporateGift and how you navigated around our website, to help us better serve you and provide
you with more personalized Information and product offerings. We may share your Information, as
well as a record of any transactions you conduct on our Website or offline with a third-party
advertising partner and its service providers in order to deliver to you banner advertisements
and other advertising tailored to your interests when you visit certain websites.
Our Third Party Payment Processors. We use a third party to process your billing Information and
credit card Information to process your order or as otherwise described in this Policy.
Required Disclosures. In certain instances we may disclose your personally identifiable
Information when we have reason to believe that it is necessary to enforce this Policy, the
terms of use that govern CorporateGift, to otherwise manage our business, or to bring legal
action against persons or entities who may be causing injury to you, CorporateGift or others. We
may also disclose your Information when we believe the law requires it. In the event of a
merger, consolidation or sale or transfer of our CorporateGift or its assets, it is possible
that User Information collected will be transferred to the purchaser or the new company.
Legitimate Interests
Providing and Improving Services. To improve and customize our Services for you and other users,
we use your Information to understand how our Services are being used to identify areas of
improvement and to evolve our Marketplace and Gifting Platform experiences.
Keeping Services Secure. We may collect, analyze or share your information to ensure security of
our Services, our users, prevent harm to individuals or property, prevent damage to our
Services, systems, staff, business partners and third parties, and to enhance the protection of
our customers and gift recipients against spam, abuse, harassment, crime, IP infringement or
fraud. We also use your information to provide and improve services for identification and
authentication, billing and payments, customer service and aggregate reporting.
Facilitating Services and Transactions. Our Platform and Marketplace support the delivery of
production, customization, warehousing and fulfillment Services between CorporateGift, its
customers and sellers. To provide such Services, we facilitate the sharing of information
relevant to provision of Services including Personally Identifiable Information such as name,
email, billing and shipping addresses. This can also involve sharing information with third
party payment processors, shipping carriers and fulfillment partners. Such partners will process
your information in compliance with their respective Privacy and Security Policies. In some
instances, these partners, not CorporateGift, will be responsible for the protection of your
personal information. By using CorporateGift Services, you are directing us and consenting to
the provision of your information to relevant third parties and partners as required to fulfill
requested Services. These third parties have a limited license to use any personal information
provided by CorporateGift to CorporateGift-related communications or transactions. CorporateGift
does not grant license to use your personal information for unauthorized transactions,
unsolicited communication, advertising, or any other use without your consent.
We respect your privacy. CorporateGift will not disclose your name, email address, or other
personal information to third parties without your consent, except as specified in this policy.
3. ACCESS TO & CHOICES ABOUT YOUR INFORMATION
You may choose to: (1) stop receiving promotional materials by mail, phone, or email; (2) access, review, confirm, update or correct your personal Information; or (3) disable your account. To carry out any of these choices, simply contact CorporateGift, as set forth herein. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails from us by visiting the Communication Preferences page.
4. SECURITY
The security of your personal information is important to us. Our Marketplace and Gifting
Platform is ISO 27001 compliant. ISO 27001 certification was conducted by an accredited
certification body, and ensures we adhere to international standards for information security
management and data protection. CorporateGift has established technical, administrative, and
physical security measures to protect against unauthorized access or use of your Information,
and to support the secure data transmission of payment information (such as credit card numbers
and bank transfers) using encryption and PCI compliance within our checkout Service. As no
method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, we cannot guarantee the absolute
security of any Information you send to us and you do so at your own risk.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their password and account, as well
as setting strong passwords, updating passwords regularly, and signing out of services when not
in use in any shared or insecure environment. Users are responsible for activities that occur
under their account and should immediately notify CorporateGift of any unauthorized use of their
account.
CorporateGift is not responsible for the policies and practices of third party websites or our
